Ouch, yeah buddy, we’ve got Borders over here and they get fairly unhappy about recording, or people even using a mobile phone ’suspiciously’ in case they’re using the camera to take photos of the store. Hang in there, perhaps if you send a complaining email they’ll send you a gift card

And how would you know that Bec - similar experience?
She told me it was for legal reasons. I laugh at this litigious society. Do you know what my flipcam’s warranty said?:
“This warranty does not cover damage due to acts of God”
Therefore, I’ve had to buy a new one
PS: It wasn’t only the lens that was damaged.

Reading a great book - The Help by Kathryn Stockett. Gives today’s 20 - 40 something an insight into what segregation was like in the south. A VERY GOOD read without preaching.

Yeah, lets just say the phone in my camera was enough to get me similarly thrown out so you’re in good company…..
I’ve yet to come across any warranty that included acts of God, but I have heard (and I’m not sure if its true or not) that you can take it to court and say that the sleek and smooth design of the camera (eg: not enough rough surfaces to grip onto) caused the breakage and thus it was not an act of God but a faulty design. but the legal fees you’d have to pay wouldn’t be worth the fight.
Well, look at it this way, you’re contributing to the wellbeing of the economy and the job security of the prolateriat by buying a new camera!

@Tonie: thanks for the recommendation! And thanks for passing by.
@Bec: The truth is I know how I could have gamed the system with the warranty of where I bought it, but it seems you get to a point in Life where you realize playing tricks is only tricking yourself.
It kinda sucks though because all of a sudden you can’t take advantage of the flaws in the system anymore
I’ll content myself with the perspective you offer!

Reality Video!
Most entertaining Miguel
Excellent work you’re doing, especially the example you are in this short video of demonstrating your respect for others (and their roll in your dream :-)) without allowing their “dream” to knock you out of the responsibility to Dream Your Own Dream.
Reminds me of my definition of “sin:”
Allowing myself to become who I am because of the experience of others.
Lead on Miguel! Your “dream” and the powerful ways that you are sharing it by way of your site will re-mind others of who they are and help them to also re-member their significance in the grand dream we are all dreaming together.
Together, or not at all.
